Breach of privacy? Here's one...

If you had told me 30 years ago that I would willingly pee in a bottle to get a job, I'd have thought you were crazy. We take off our shoes and subject ourselves to body scans at the airport. We allow CREDIT checks by potential employers.

So, here we are all upset about the NSA breaches of privacy and rightly so. But I wonder if we haven't been the frog in the pot of water here. We don't like it, but eventually we just accept it.

I don't know a way around it, I need a job, I need to fly on that plane, I do what I have to, to get what I need. But I do wonder if the incremental bit by bit of crumbling privacy, gets most of us too accepting.

I don't have any answers, I wish I did. But when I think of "invasion of privacy" my very first thought is being asked to pee in a bottle.
