Of course...some residents of Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood can sympathize with Paula Deen
The first 3 responses of a Free Republic thread about the Paula Deen racism controversy:
" This is disappointing news about a tv cook that I 'used' to have respect for. "
"Yuck. Ill bet she claims to be a Christian, too."
"She sounds more like trailer park trash than a gracious Southern lady here."
But then:
"Who cares but the easily offended.
I have never seen slavery themed weddings but I have seen slavery themed bridal showers and bachelor parties."
"The only time I have ever thought about the N word in relation to a person was with Barack Obama and yes it was deserved."
And then somebody actually responded:
"I would say (the N word)'s apropos when describing individuals like Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, Al Sharpton, Sheets Byrd and that ilk."
Then cue a misogynist: "Sounds like a gold digger -- going after both, might luck out with a settlement from at least one.
So, why does the 'former manager' think she deserves cash because Paula Deen used the N-word? "
(They were saying the same sh*t about the women who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment, what's new?)
And finally this HILARIOUS response to the person saying call Obama the N word: the poster said he'd call Obama an "African, rich, pampered little sissy who has never known anything but coddling and privilege in his life" because "Calling Obama a "n****r" would give him sense of identity that he doesn't deserve and has not earned. "
