talking and discussing this guy.

I have not subscribed to HBO in 25+ years and have never seen the Sopranos. Yes, the show was a supposed icon, but it was not seen by a lot of people. And FFS, the guy was even younger than me by three months.

I would much rather Tweety spend 10 minutes talking about the benefits of Wind Power than some actor.

Sorry, but this is an aside...

My Grandfather, moved out of the west-central coal mines after getting a nasty lung infection and went to work for GE during WW2. He ran the winding of the wires around transformers. He spent 25 years doing that and retired from his union job. GE still has some jobs, but not like they did in the 40's to 60's.

I think they could have taken it down and notch and devoted more time to the meaning of the farm bill and how that SNAP program cut could have devastated families with small children....

Sorry, I am to the point of really being cynical. I think I will look over my collection of... CDs and just do music as background any more.

sorry.

But the death of an actor is not fundamental to your freedoms.

Don't worry. Americans will learn too. Nobody reads the news paper since they are all full of lies and propaganda. They already are...

Watergate was not done for the ratings...

politics and current events. Hardball is not the guardian of 'our freedoms'. It is a commentary pundit infotainment show.
There is a world of important things outside the fetid cellar of DC, and it is good to occasionally remember that. Not one freaking hour, not one show on any of the cable commentary outlets covers arts or culture, not one. So spare me.

How awful that we should have value placed on anyone who is not a politician. Shameful. Next they'll be lauding poets and the sun will simply go dark. More to life than only surviving.
