We're well into farce stage now.

Why can't people just move forward and understand that those people didn't have phones and all the stuff we have now or they wouldn't have written that 4th Amendment, would they?

Also Venezuela has an extradition treaty with the US. I think it's going to be Ecuador where the President has a 90% Public Approval Rating and the US hasn't been able to get a strong opposition off the ground.

He'll be happy in either country but I think Ecuador is more stable. And think of the havoc he could wreak with Julian Assange, either from their or using secure communications to the Ecuadoran Embassy in the UK. Communications temporarily secure again because you know everyone changed their encryption methods after the leaks.

Lucky you for visiting and loving such a beautiful country.

My friend, I'm too giddy to really think straight right now Venezuela, Ecuador, either way, Godspeed Edward Snowden.

crooked Wall St. criminals cannot seem to crush the people all over the world rising up against their greed. Not to mention Canada, and France and Spain. We are so insulated here we don't see what is happening around the world.

But they have had so much time to gain enormous power and it will take a Global Movement to end the policies that have destroyed nations, first in the Third World, now moving on to the First World, in Europe and here.

I'm afraid they will use all that power to try to crush the people as they have so much to lose. But you are right, these are historical and exciting times.

Here is where I am, La Antigua, also a city of perpetual spring but very tiny. It's where St Exupery started writing "Le Petit Prince" while he was recuperating from a plane crash.

Thank you for sharing that. I really want to see it.

Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, said: "I don't (know if he's planning to stay in Moscow). I heard about the potential (arrival) from the press. I know nothing."

On whether Moscow would still consider a request for asylum from Snowden, Peskov added: "Every application is considered so it's standard procedure … We are not tracing his movements and I know nothing."

That should tell us something about what this country has become.

call a spy a spy. He just made another document drop and collected a nice sum of cash. A spy has to eat, ya know. This is a one-time deal for Eddie. He's all in for a big payoff from each of the countries who have the most to gain from his theft of classified material.
