How many politicians who are for Keystone understand oil as a commodity?

Because, reading their comments, I'm willing to bet that it's very few.

It seems they actually believe, just like some common folk Keystone supporters to whom I've talked, that this pipeline will mean the crappy, heavy crude it sends to be refined in America is going to get promptly turned into gas and whisked directly off to the ol' Chevron down the street, and that'll lower gas prices.

I wish we could put them all on the spot and force them to prove they understand how this whole process works. Of course, I know all you'd hear is "uh...uh...some jobs!" and "energy independence!" They don't have a fucking clue.
