I especially like the third verse, and the play on "Heaven only knows in which god they can trust".
"rising Rainbow" - great imagery.
...but there's just a little something missing in the last line. I can't quite figure out how to work it into the cadence of the song.
well, maybe this:

all those both black and white who died for the rights of those who wanted to vote but were denied were swept away as if they were dirt on the floor.
at 65 years old i thought but i should have known better...today they just kill with a pen
