(Tune-for those too young to remember-"Here's To The State of Mississippi"
1)Here's to the Court of Justice Roberts
Where underneath their gavels, the devil draws no lines,
if you drag their brutal rulings, nameless bodies you will find.
All the big checks from the Koch boys have financed a thousand crimes.
And the calendar is lying when it reads the present time
(Chorus)
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of.
Justice Roberts find yourself another country to be part of.
2)Here's to the states of Justice Roberts
They're imposing anti-voting laws as fast as you can blink,
and then repealing civil rights without a pause to think,
and women's choice is chipped away by men who smirk and wink.
Their souls are like a sewer and for miles we smell the stink.
(Chorus)
3)Here's to the party of Justice Roberts
They see the future coming, and they try to beat it back,
Against the rising Rainbow, they are massed for the attack.
The country that they used to know has vanished down the track,
And now they can't be sure that God's not female, gay or black.
(Last Chorus)
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of,
Justice Roberts find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Alito find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Scalia find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Thomas find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Kennedy find yourself another country to be part of.
(last line of third verse and last chorus by DreamGypsy).

(2,252 posts)I especially like the third verse, and the play on "Heaven only knows in which god they can trust".
"rising Rainbow" - great imagery.
...but there's just a little something missing in the last line. I can't quite figure out how to work it into the cadence of the song.
well, maybe this:
And now they can't be sure that God's not female, gay, and black.
In conclusion:
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of,
Justice Alito find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Scalia find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Thomas find yourself another country to be part of,
Justice Kennedy find yourself another country to be part of,
Chief Justice Roberts find yourself another country to be part of.
Thanks, Ken Burch, for continuing the protest song tradition.

all those both black and white who died for the rights of those who wanted to vote but were denied were swept away as if they were dirt on the floor.
