They may have run another story that I didn't hear, but the one that I caught didn't identify Davis by name, referring instead to "the filibuster attempt" and "jeers from the crowd."
Curious that they would leave her out of it while they gave the Lt. Governor's name...

Regardless, it's ridiculous that they mentioned the filibuster at all but didn't identify Davis by name.
I listen during my commute to work, so I confess that I sometimes don't have the option of taking comprehensive notes. However, when there's a glaring omission, it stands out. The piece this morning, for instance, talked at some length about the deadline and about Perry's likely call for another special legislative session.

(63,213 posts)Not sure exactly when I heard the bit, but it was a short blurb rather than a full story. I'm gratified to hear that the larger story actually credited Davis for her effort, but I would have preferred to have her identified even in that brief piece.
