I'm sufficiently out of the loop that your post is unintelligible to me.

But I suppose everyone else on the board understands it.

Those of us who don't even know how to turn on the TV are often nonplussed by whatever it is that has you normal people all frothed up.

had passed, and the sweeping reforms were eminent. No mention of the time controversy. Nothing. Completely canned ham reporting.

Defeat for the dems was a foregone conclusion, and they had pre written the reports to prove it.

Did Number 10 issue a statement on Texas' vote? I hardly think so. Like the US, the UK has many diverse news sources, all across the political spectrum. If nothing else, the UK reference is confusing as the UK is a nation not a news outlet.

AP's coverage, since the bill's status was in dispute given the time at which final voting began and concluded.

I woke up this morning to find that it has failed after having gone to sleep last night thinking it had passed (thanks to AP's blown coverage).
