1. Based on yesterday's decision, I didn't expect this decision at all today.

So, I'm pleasantly surprised that SCOTUS deemed DOMA unconstitutional. That said, they screwed the pooch yesterday big time.

2. I kinda did. I think they knew what was coming down with these two decisions,

so they felt that much freer to kill the VRA. They could pat themselves on the back and tell themselves how even-handed they are.
