Republican Representative Tim "Killjoy" Huelskamp will file amendment to restore DOMA...

Rep. Tim Huelskamp said he will file a constitutional amendment later this week to restore DOMA.

The Kansas Republican said he will be joined by other conservatives in supporting that effort.

“My response to this will be later this week to file a federal marriage amendment,” he said at a Conversation with Conservatives lunch on Wednesday morning.

When asked if leadership is likely to support efforts to restore DOMA, Huelskamp said he was encouraged by the statement Speaker John Boehner released after the ruling.

“I give tremendous credit to the Speaker of the House,” Huelskamp said.

That's all that's needed to block that pissant's bigoted amendment.

Won't even get out of Congress I bet.

On edit: I hope he's blubbering right now. I really hope he feels crushing despair clutch around his heart.

Offhand, it's 2/3 majority in congress and 3/4 majority of the states or vice versa.
