TX Tealiban Leader (P)rick Perry has evidently scheduled another legislative gang-rape

session for 2:00 p.m. Monday July 1.

They're counting on women and sane people getting tired and worn out fighting their American Taliban regime and their legislative gang-rape sessions.

I hope they're once again thwarted in their oppression of women.

1. This is one of the most unfortunate and inappropriate OP titles I've ever seen.

2. It's apropos of what's going on, IMO.

It's nowhere near as offensive as what is being done to women by The American Taliban. Sorry.

4. It's pretty bad. And by pretty bad I mean extremely disgusting.

It's not apropos. And I'm utterly confused why you would refer to these legislative sessions as gang rapes.

That's not a word you just get to toss around at your leisure.

But, you know, I guess the bar has now been set at "it's not as bad as what they're saying so stop complaining." Pathetic.

9. Because gang rape is what it is.

It's barely even a metaphor. Force, violation, humiliation, lifelong harm...what's missing?

12. The part that makes it an actual gang rape. Group sexual assault of a single victim.

You're right, it is barely a metaphor because metaphors have to at least make some sense.

6. So you agree with the metaphorical usage of the term "gang rape?"

You see no potential abrogation of the meaning behind such a term when it's used in such a manner?

8. I object to your use of the term "gang rape."

I'm a big fan of metaphor, but this one is only distracting.

Sorry but that's how I see what they're doing. It's the best way to properly describe it, IMO.

Yes. It's over the edge. Yes. It's disturbing. Absolutely.

Distracting? It's defining. And they're defining themselves that way via their own actions. I'm just calling it what it is: legislative gang-rape.

I bet you that we will have a large number of people signing up to testify before both the House and Senate committees on these bills.
