I am the only one who remembers we have a fucking spending problem? Both the cons and the "serious" Dems are saying we have to cut spending including "Entitlements" AKA programs you have paid into for 40 fucking years. How the hell can anyone justify the cost of this new wing of the MIC is beyond reason. Starve grandma or let her freeze to keep her safe? So what if the hospital closes or the bridge collapses on her way there at least a terrorist didn't do it?

We do have a spending problem, but that is with social programs, education, etc. National security has always been excluded from the spending debate, except for some token sacrifices.

seems to be missing this point. All I hear about is how Good/Bad Snowden is or how this has been going on for ever so don't blame Obama or Blame Obama because I voted for change. I would think that almost ALL Democrats would agree that cutting Social Security etc. should not be on the table when we have hundreds of billions being spent on this horse shit.

The game is so rigged. I have yet to hear one talking head mention the cost. EVERYTHING else always comes with "but we can't afford it".
