Whatever some of the nay sayers are saying, I still consider myself equal under the law now.

Yes I live in a State that does not recognize Gay marriage, that does not matter. I am recognized under the Federal law & thats what matters nothing more.

With section 3 of DOMA gone the rest is going to be a domino effect. I predict in less than five years same sex marriage will be in all 50 States (last week I would not have made that comment).

No I am not going to be complacent but I do see the light at the end of the tunnel & the path to get there.

my advise to the nay sayers is celebrate today & start the fight tomorrow.

We have won this battle and SCOTUS has given us the plans to win the war.

This from an old & tired activist but by no means done.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed yesterday to find that marriages were only legal in those states that already recognize same sex marriage, but after thinking it over I understand this is only one battle. We will also eventually win the war.

Somebody always has to rain on a parade.

This is going to kick the door open for more states. Every victory along the way should be celebrated.
