who was adamant that his wife abort their fourth pregnancy. The last thing the young couple needed was another kid. The fact that the second oldest kid had almost died at the hands of it's mom was an important factor in arguing for the proceedure. Mom got the abortion and dad got a vasectomy. Dad has never regretted the abortion he pushed for and neither has Mom.
