Trayvon's brother was a really good witness. This ME, not so much

I thought his brother did a tremendous job testifying and keeping calm. If I'm a juror, I've got to be somewhat influenced by his demeanor and attitude, and be inclined to think that his brother *might* be similarly disposed, although of course it isn't proof. But if Trayvon was anything like his brother, then it's hard to imagine him being the aggressor in any way. I can see him defending himself, of course.

I know it's complete speculation, but it will be hard for jurors, especially those that are mothers, to not be thinking that way.

This medical examiner, on the other hand, is excrutiating to listen to. Not just language issues, but his description of things. "Dead men can't stand." etc yuck

But I think the ME is doing fine. Frankly, the defense attorney seems like he doesn't know what he's talking about with some of the questions. I don't believe jurors expect an ME to remember specifics of every case he touches. He does a report and has a system he follows. Most of the questions they're asking seem irrelevant. The defense just drones on and on.
