The smirking bastard asked Trayvon's mother if she had "hoped her son hadn't done something to cause his own death"?
Man, I could never be a prosecutor, because the next few questions I would have asked would have been;
"Did you "hope" that your son could return from a store without some asshat describing him as a "fucking punk" who "always gets away"?
"Did you "hope" that someone wouldn't identify your son as a criminal, just because of the way he looked"?
"Did you "hope" that the person who had been told to not follow your son, had quit following him"?
"Did you "hope" that your son could walk through his neighborhood and not have some guy with a loaded gun tracking him"?
"Did you "hope" that your son can walk home from the store, without some guy with a loaded gun harassing him for no reason?"

(12,778 posts)He should have never asked any questions. It's not like she was going to change her testimony, and he ended up looking like a bully.
As for "scumbag" attorneys: it seems to me that everyone hates lawyers until they need one.

Perhaps the intent is allow the defense to suffocate their client with filth.
Thanks for expressing my outrage at this scumbag and his attorney.
