for stunted emotional growth and deep insecurities.

a man who can actually take care of himself isn't interested in the vanity of all that, and will stay away from other men that also know how to take care of themselves. its the posers that fight. to prove to others they aren't weak because they are.

a hard life lesson.

I mean I don't want to have enormous muscles like that, but I'm deeply insecure and emotionally stunted. I think it can be a sign of that, but it can also be that they really derive some pleasure out of being able to lift otherwise overwhelming weights.

In the absence of any further information about them than that picture, I don't think it's fair to call them emotionally stunted because they have muscles on top of muscles. And you certainly don't have any proof from the picture that they like to fight.

I don't get the allure of weight lifting, but then again, most people don't get the allure of what I did last Sunday of 6 hours of parkour followed by 2 hours of gymnastics on a knee without cartilage. But I got it and that's enough for me.
