So, Snowden's actual job at BAH was Cyber Counterintelligence.

Snowden was responsible for finding holes in NSA security. So anything he did, from sophisticated hacking, to 'walking through the front door' exploits and even exploring email leaks, would look like he was doing his job. How perfect was that!

And we are supposed to believe he had no idea of the guts of the NSA's operations, before joining BAH? He was shocked! Shocked I tell you.

And this is the stuff he is ready to disclose if necessary, to all and sundry?
