Create clones that are not real living beings that these jerks can attack and kill. But the result is so disgusting and scarey that they want to avoid any confrontation.

Can you imagine GZ killing a clone and after the bullet enters the body the body opens up with a venus flytrap type of monster dripping with blood attacking him?

One person is murderous scum and a liar ... the other is a dead teenager.

There are those that like to flock to these threads ... babbling on "under Florida law ... it is OK to murder someone if that person is afraid of them" .... yeah, that changes everything. Be afraid of Black teenagers and you can kill them.

I have no idea how the trial will end. I am not impressed with the prosecution or the defense. I am also aware that juries are fickle; one never can be sure how they will vote.

In the end it changes nothing. A kid walked to a convenience store and attempted to walk "home" ... a gun toting, police wannabe, yahoo stalked him, got into an altercation with his prey and killed him. One's interpretation of the law doesn't change this.

IMO stand your ground or self defense doesn't apply in ANY way to this case.

Z was talking to the police BEFORE anything happened and was told to stay in his car, police were responding.

Every event that happened after he was told that was due to an act of aggression by Zimmerman.

scared he pulled his gun and shot Martin.

If Zimmerman was afraid, why did he follow Martin? Why did he have to search to find out the name of the street? Had he stayed in his truck, the police would have found Martin.

They always get away. We shall see.

You never know about a jury.

Some crazy detail that seems unimportant to someone not on the jury can completely determine the outcome of the case.

the gun would imply that he had it as a deterrent and as a use of deadly force if needed. Or if totally un-needed. No matter how people parse it; a bag of skittles and a can of tea are not comparable items in the Rules of Engagement. Zimmerman acted alone and with premeditation imo.

carrying a gun period with his past criminal record. The first person he killed was an innocent kid. I don't believe Martin was trying to kill Zimmerman either with his bare hands. Zimmerman's whole story is ludicrous. Jeanteal said the exact words. It is retarded. Anybody put me on the stand and I would have said the same thing to his lawyers. At lease Martin's mother had the smarts to put him in his place.

If O'Mara came up with that concocted story again about Trayvon slamming Zimmerman's fat Bald head against the concrete, I would have asked O'Mara for a demonstration, using his client's head of course, just how Martin accomplished what he claims.

A lot of Zims story is true except the part where he claimed he didn't follow him and he reached for his phone.

I think Zim did follow him and since Zim lied to him and then reached for a gun instead of a phone TM being afraid hit him in the nose.

It was TM screaming because he knew the other guy had a gun.

Zim needed to tweak his story to fit SYG or self defenese.

not on the stand.

What's being discussed I think is the amazing
(insert appropriate legal term) - response
by John Guy to the defense's request for
a summary judgement of acquittal.

If you saw him give the opening statement..
this was twice as good. For the first time I
thought a second degree conviction was
making sense. He's GOOD and so focused,
no wasted words, doesn't waste anybody's
time or insult anybody's intelligence unlike
OMara and West.

Zimmerman looked increasingly uncomfortable
and was blinking a lot.

Zimmerman was acting out his fantasy by being on the Neighborhood Watch, when other HOA members didn't even see the need for him to do this. By carrying a lethal weapon in his self-appointed job, clearly part of his fantasy involved confrontation and death.

And he did it.
