(28,979 posts)My mum blew a fuse, my F drive failed and I have been scanning the internet for advice. I tried the freezer last night proving my utter desperation. No luck. This morning to further torture myself, I plugged in again. OMG. I see the F drive and my files. BUT no luck opening! It says device I/O error. So am trying to correct that problem. Maybe??? Maybe I will retrieve my files without a FOIA?
Perhaps the only person ever who even momentarily considered asking NSA to help me recover my files. heh heh...
