I've argued this point until I'm blue in the face on another forum I belong to. When it comes to graphics the PC will win every single time.

5. Pc Gamers use new egg.

There is other sites but with new egg you can get some awesome gaming pc's for under 500 bucks thats with windows 7 or windows 8, that is if you already have a monitor. If you are knowledgeable which I don't assume you are because you ask for advice you can build them for 300-400 bucks with new parts.

The ps4 is going to be pretty powerful but as i see you like flight sim games, the computer is going to be your best bet because consoles have less games then PC because those sim games are not very profitable but just like you i find that stuff enjoyable and is why i am a pc gamer, that and PC games are cheaper.

Try IBUYPOWER or CYBERPOWER on this site, lately they have had 8 core deals for 500 bucks with a T hard drive and 8 gigs of ram.

If you don't know how to put in a new power supply i suggest you get one that has at least 500 W for future graphic card upgrades, new egg has it all for cheap.

Ask if they can upgrade you to a 670 for a minimal price. Even better would be an SLI package. Those don't get old very soon. You can throw two more cards in there cheaply and still be rocking a box like the most current for several years.

See if you can get a 670 or 660ti (others can't do sli) package for a reasonable extra cost. It's worth the pain in the short run for what you can get out of it in the long run.

if it isn't too expensive, and especially if they give you an option for future sli - the motherboard must be capable of it, but I swear - it IS worth it. You can keep the same motherboard around for years and still have a kick ass system. Just my two cents.

Pricey thats more then i would pay for that system, you could get that for 600-700 bucks on new egg from the two company's i mentioned that is already built of course. I do like that it can support 32 gigs of ram rofl but the processor will be obsolete before we see a need for that. If money is no issue for you its going to do everything you need it to do for at least 5 years likely more.

Nothing wrong with AMD, either, to answer for myself. I have on in my laptop that does just fine, and the other in SLI in my desktop.

If the latter, consider Cybertron PC. Most gaming PCs at a given price point spec out more-or-less the same. Customer service is the primary differentiating point, IMO. I have a mid-level box from Cybertron, and couldn't be happier with it.
