We Are Beyond Bipartisanship - We Have Descended Into Sectarianism On All Issues With GOP

The GOP has decided it will listen to no one and will not allow anyone to vote or change what they do because they have gerrymandered the opposition into irrelevance at the state level. With issues regarding women's rights and labor rights they have said they will dictate to everyone. And any opposition will be silenced with intimidation and arrest.

Politically we are no no different than the divide between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland. The fundy churches have decided they will dictate governance according to biblical principles and the GOP will help them. As a country we are now at an impasse nationally and the GOP is pursuing the same impasse state by state until they are the only party.

The plan minority rule no matter how onerous it is.

Amazing that the GOP is doing exactly what Morrissey did. Bipartisanship? More like brotherhood of the insane.

The difference is that Americans aren't as bad off as Egyptians. yet....

The division on social issues is deliberately hyped to distract people from the remarkable collusion on behalf of the one percent on economic issues, war, and the police/surveillance state.

The moneyed power could care less about social issues. Short term financial issues are all they care about and I am coming to the conclusion that both parties are doing the job they were hired for. Good Cop/Bad Cop.
I am beyond disgusted.

People will only tolerate being dictated to by jesus nuts for so long before heads start to roll in a very literal sense.

I believe things HAVE to get much much worse before we can hope to make them any better.

ETA: They have the guns but we have the numbers.
