Birds are territorial creatures.
The lyrics to the songbird's melodious trill go something like this:
"Stay out of my territory or I'll PECK YOUR GODDAMNED EYES OUT!"

(58,721 posts)IMHO, far, far too many people believe just that. And they seem determined to force feed it to the rest of us.

"If everyone was like my personal sliver of the culture, everything would be fine."
Something like that.
Kind of a Westboro argument, really.

(25,988 posts)I don't even want to consider how this explanation would go, but they'd still find a way to blame the gawdless heathens while playing the martyr at the same time.

(2 posts)There is a new book out about a school shooting entitled "He Was Weird" Michael D LeFevre. In the story, the main character is bullied because of his Asperger's Syndrome. In the story, he accepts Jesus into his life, however, it seems Jesus does not cure his condition nor stop the terrible bullying he suffers. When the character goes to do the deed, he cites a verse out of Deuteronomy. The book is available on Amazon and it is an interesting read.
