Every commercial break they play an ad featuring Ted "Canadian" Cruz or Rand friggin Paul calling for abolishing the IRS.
I don't know about you but, it's a real turn off for me. Right wing propaganda sandwiched in between somewhat liberal shows is just not getting it done for me.
Just a thought.

(32,610 posts)I have had enough.
It isn't just that they are running the ads - IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BIG FAT LIES.
Doesn't MSNBC have any responsibility here?

(1,805 posts)what commercials run when. I used to work in cable advertising and clients purchased packages for different channels or requested certain events. Shark Week was always big. So it's not the channel that chooses the spots.

(35,392 posts)they claim "Oh, we bought a block of advertising, and we didn't know, nudge nudge, wink wink, that it would air during the R.L. show ..."

(2,577 posts)Stephanie Miller is always pointing that out. Proponents of Prop 8 in 2008 were advertising on her show in LA and really irritating her progressive and LGBT supportive listeners.
When I see idiot Ted Cruz on MSNBC I like to think that whoever is fronting the tool is wasting his money on an unreceptive audience.

(17,066 posts)and what a great employer they are and how they buy from local farmers. I do appreciate the ads for the Post Office union, however.

(75,480 posts)to cover. I have been watching Current TV mostly because they cover what's really going on, Michael Shure, Cenk Uygar, John Fugelsang and even Joy Behar, who makes me laugh. It's too bad they are going to be gone in less than a couple of months. Although if you hate the commercials on MSNBC, Current's aren't much better.
