Libertarian Kook Adam Kokesh Arrested With Guns and Magic Mushrooms

After libertarian loon Adam Kokesh posted a video of himself loading a shotgun in Freedom Plaza, just blocks from the White House, police arrested him and searched his home last night — and discovered guns and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Police searched the Northern Virginia home of activist Adam Kokesh Tuesday evening and took him into custody on for allegedly being in possession of hallucinogenic mushroom while also having a gun, authorities said.

Kokesh, a former Marine, was held overnight at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, charged with possession of schedule I or II drugs while in possession of a firearm, said Lt. Steve Elbert, a spokesman for the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office.

I suppose the mushrooms help him adjust reality to fit his fevered paranoia. Perhaps he is a member of a religion that views 'shrooms as a sacrament...for some reason I doubt this defense is one he'll use. Kokesh will claim the mushrooms were planted in his home by shadowy figures working for Obama's secret goon squads.
