Oh my God,Sarah Slamen I love you so much!

What a spectacular beat down of the Texas Legislature. I only wish she had a mic to throw down. She's on Laurence O'Donnell right now.Meant to add that I've just seen the video,so apologies if this has been posted before.

have to take off work, or are they unemployed? How can they afford to travel there, or do they live there already?

I've always wondered about that. I would have a hard time taking off work with short notice...then there's the traveling (I have pets). I would like to do that one day, on an issue I feel strongly about.

hanging on and working 2 jobs don't have the time to be heard by government. She said in the interview that she realizes she has the privilege of being in a position to be heard and is thankful she can do that. She did great in the interview,I hope we hear more from her in the future.

suffer the consequences as we are now made painfully aware of. I'm still reeling over Michigan becoming a "right to work" state and the anti women rights crap goes hand in hand with these goons.

I live in PA and remember seeing this bumper sticker on a woman's car who worked at the Domestic Violence shelter where I volunteer. She hailed from Texas before moving to PA. I smiled every time I saw it and now, it has a whole new meaning for me. Right now, we could all take a lesson from these Texas women who are mad as Hell and aren't going to take this latest nonsense sitting down.
