Just thought I'd walk everyone, including the right-wing infiltrators on this site, exactly how things seem to be "reinterpreted" since Obama became President.

Donors fill top envoy posts
By Laurence McQuillan, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON President Bush is rewarding Republican donors and loyalists with plum ambassadorships at an unprecedented pace.
Of 27 ambassadors announced so far, 22 went to people with political or personal connections and no diplomatic experience, according to a review by USA TODAY. One has been confirmed.
Bush is following tradition, of course. Every president doles out ambassadorships in gratitude for favors. But Bush has put a priority on embassies in France, Spain, the Bahamas and other desirable spots, and filled them with big donors and party loyalists.
For sensitive posts like Russia and Egypt, he has turned to career diplomats.
The rush to fill the best posts first could give Bush a bonus later: With a typical two-year turnover at embassies, Republican political strategists say, he could reward twice as many big donors with spots like Paris, London and the Bahamas before tapping them again for his re-election campaign.
