Quite simply, Sarah's never going to run for office unless she can be allowed to pretty much fall ass-backwards into the position.

She doesn't have the fortitude to actually compete for the position through the primary process as she knows she'll have to answer questions in public forums during the campaign and won't be able to rely stricly on FOX News or Facebook to reach the people whose votes she'll actually need in order to win the general. If memory serves her whole strategy in 2012 was basically waiting to see if the other riders in the clown car would knock each other off during the primaries to where people would beg her to enter the race.

Besides, if she thinks the GOP primary opponents aren't going to hit at her for bailing out and quitting her governorship after the 2008 election she's too delusional to be trusted with any position of political power.
