SAXONBURG (KDKA) A Saxonburg man has been arrested for dousing his then-girlfriends 7-year-old son with a flammable liquid.
Then police say the mans own 15-year-old son set the younger boys shirt on fire.
Edward B. Myers, 35, allegedly used his cell phone to film the attack at his Carol Drive home as he watched the boy burn.
According to the criminal complaint Myers, and his 15-year-old, and 11-year-old sons also repeatedly shot the victim with airsoft guns, and pellet-type guns.

and not knowing these kids from Adam, just from this one short story so a lot of assumptions and guesses. the 15 year old is going to have a tough time. It is a time of identify formation so yes, he could overcome it. The 11 year old would have an easier time. But remember for both there would be some huge trust issues with going to foster care. They both have life stories that they know and they aren't going to give them up in a day. But it isn't like the story of Genie who was strapped down in isolation. It could be overcame for both of them, but it would take some good people and some good time and some good resources.
