GOP to the poor: Go to hell!

Now that Republicans in the House have passed a Farm Bill that does not include nutrition programs (food stamps), they have proven beyond a shadow of doubt that they cannot be trusted to act in the public good. Given their own track record of the last few years there is absolutely no reason to believe they will bring legislation that will honestly remedy that lack. Today’s Republican party is utterly without honor or integrity.

As I type this, Eric Cantor refuses to give a straight answer to Hoyer's inquiry about GOP plans to relegislate SNAP.

Elderly--------voting restrictions, SS cuts
Poor----------voting restrictions, Food Stamp cuts
Students------voting restrictions, double student loan interest rates
Minorities------voting restrictions, immigration "reform"

...there would not be another GOP person in office for years! Sadly, many look to the lottery to change their status and they see the GOP as their ticket out of poverty, not realizing it actually ensures they will likely never emerge from their ranks.
