Selling fish in blackface

An ad featuring a white man in blackface has angered South Africans, and the company behind it is not backing down. The Cape Town Fish Market (CTFM) ad was meant to be a play on the food-handling practices of its competitors, with the motto "it doesn't get any fresher".

For many, however, the imagery evoked memories of South Africa's past.
