Getting in front of the story to draw attention away from the prosecution's statements. It's a strategy.

They can't stay away from the press, and yet, they complain to the judge that they have no time to prepare their case.

and legal "experts" to ignore the prosecution's case and just talk about Zimmerman. The entire media has been pro-Zimmerman since Day 1.

It's Miller time.

Except they want to rack up billable hours.

Otherwise it's probably a waste of time, unless they really think what they say is going to somehow reach the sequestered jury. Then it's unethical.

Then again, maybe they're relying on that last spurt of donations to come in over the weekend before the manslaughter conviction comes in.
