No one speaks up for woman who was kicked in the face

When a woman was assaulted, robbed and kicked viciously in the face over the Pride weekend, police officers were pleased to see that the entire episode had been caught on video.

It isn’t easy to watch. The woman, dazed from being punched, is kicked by a punk long after the robbery is over. It is a simple cowardly act by a thug.

But the good part of the graphic violence is that it seemed sure to nudge those who could identify the attacker to come forward.

But so far, nothing.

The video was even shown on a national television show with the headline “Kicked in the face for a purse and a cell phone.”

But still no one has come forward. It is time they do.
