Bernie de la Rionda/John Guy Support Thread

As the arguments in the case come to an end, this would be a great time for all of us here on DU to show our support to the two men who have worked tirelessly on behalf of getting justice for Trayvon Martin - Bernie de la Rionda and John Guy.

They are two top notch prosecutors who, despite what media analysts have said throughout this case, have been steady and consistent in pursuit of justice.

I also know they tamped down a lot of racial animosity even though it was the pre-historic elephant in the room.

with the membership of this site. Yes I am biased. I don't like murderers and I will not praise their lawyers for defending them.

confronted, and killed an unarmed teenager. Do you really expect us to praise the lawyers who are making big bucks to defend this racist. You might need to visit another website for that.

Even though they were defending a murderer and I don't agree with some of what they were saying at all...

I will support and praise the two prosecutors because they undertook this case and despite whatever their own personal political beliefs are, gave it everything they had in an effort to achieve justice for Trayvon.

yes. If, on the other hand, they completely disregard their ethical boundaries, show utter contempt to the court ie West and deliberately lie to the media ie O'Mara telling the media a blatant lie that Martin videotaped his buddies beating up a homeless man when the truth was a video of two homeless men fighting each other over a bicycle, then I would lose the respect for them I currently hold.
