Facebook refused to remove rape photos for a month

The man hasn't been convicted yet but the charges is that he drugged a woman took pictures of her un clothed and in sexual postions- raped- her than created a FAKE facebook profile in her name and POSTED the pictures.


The victim found out through a friend who showed her the page.


BUT THE THING THAT REALLY SICK IS THAT IT TOOK A MONTH TO GET FACEBOOK TO REMOVE THOSE PICTURES

I'm so glad I deleted my account--and I went to yahoo and found the real directions to remove my profile.


The ass who owns that site should be sued or jailed.

The worst that can happen is someone figures out I post on DU and is a --gasp-- LIBERAL...

I do not trust social media. No twitter. No facebook. At some point, I might relent to sign on to twitter, but unlikely to post.

3. I closed my Facebook and Google accounts. Google has a deal with Politico to give them

information. I won't even use them for searches anymore.

But I do use Twitter because I can go directly at Republicans and crap all over them. They all have accounts and it's the only way to blast them directly. It works.

I use a hotmail account and that is the only information in my twitter account. They get hacked regularly so using only hotmail and my online name, and the hotmail account has no backup email for contact.
