Maybe a bit of slight hyperbole but nothing compared to the paranoid delusion of the war on Christmas or the war on religion. I ask that you use the phrase the war on women as often as possible.

Now lets formulate a list of evidence for the ongoing Republican War on Women. I will start.

Victoria Nourse, former nominee for the 7th Circuit

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Ron Johnson "filibuster" of Nourse nomination to federal bench draws fire

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson’s decision to block the judicial nomination of a University of Wisconsin law professor has drawn a pointed letter of protest from a group of legal academics around the country.

Johnson has singlehandedly held up consideration of Victoria Nourse for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, which reviews federal cases from Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.

1. Rick Santorum: Women In Combat Could Create 'Compromising Situation' Because Of 'Emotions'

"...I do have concerns about women in front-line combat, I think that could be a very compromising situation, where people naturally may do things that may not be in the interest of the mission, because of other types of emotions that are involved," Santorum continued. 2. Georgia State Lawmaker Seeks To Redefine Rape Victims As 'Accusers'

WASHINGTON -- A Republican state legislator in Georgia doesn't like the term rape "victim." In fact, he has introduced a bill mandating that state criminal codes refer to these people as, simply, "accusers" -- until there's a conviction in the matter.
