Friend of mine worked for a Church rectory for 18 years. The Parish was downsized and she was let go. When she went to apply for unemployment insurance, she was told the Church had NOT funded that account! So she was out of luck and had to scramble and ask her kids for help. Guess they think they never have to provide for employees in any way. The employees should just be grateful for the chance at being in the company of "holiness".
