Rove: Obama acting like 'third-world' 'dictator' with contraception rule

GOP political strategist Karl Rove blasted President Obama's new contraception mandate on Fox Friday, saying the rule sounded like a third-world country run by a dictator donning mirrored sunglasses.

"Where does this authority come from," Rove asked Fox's Bill Hemmer. "This sounds like some third-world county governed by colonels in mirrored sunglasses in which he dictates, 'I, the supreme leader, dictate that something will be provided free when we know the cost of that will have to be borne by everybody else in society that's not getting the free good.' "

Your people are the ones saying you shouldn't have to do what everyone else is required to do, because you don't approve. Then on the other hand you want to remove all safety nets. So that a married couple should be abstinent or have a dozen children just because you say so.

DUer Fawke Em blasted the GOP's new anti-contraception diatribe on DU Saturday, saying the forced-birth rule sounded like something a third-world country run by a dictator would impose on more than half its citizens.

"Where does this authority come from?", Fawke Em asked everyone. "This sounds like some third-world county governed by colonels in mirrored sunglasses in which he dictates, 'I, the supreme leader, dictate that women will be forced to either choose between something as natural as sex or risk becoming impregnated against her will when we know the cost of that will have to be borne by everybody else in society...".

your fanatical constituency is the problem, and little sociopaths such as your selves who take advantage of cult-like movements.

But like all extremist nut cases, you will twist reality to suit your agenda until you destroy yourselves. Unfortunately, you damage the world around yourselves in the process, like a black hole that just takes.

They know the buzz words that will scare the hell outta their base. I'm starting to believe they have their own super-secret school complete with cheerleaders, dressed all in red, wide-eyed, terrified expressions on their faces. Oh, wait. They have FOX "news" "anchors".

nm.

Okay, class, let's highlight the words that will keep our followers tightly bound to our beliefs.
Authority
Third-world
Governed
Colonels
Mirrored sunglasses
Dictates (dictate)
Supreme Leader
Borne (super-secret word that will ping that anti-choice brain cell)
Free

Extra bonus points and big ol' star if they can spell them all correctly.

If he says something is bad you know it is good and if he says
such and such actions will hurt the democrats you know those
actions will help the democrats.

Rove is an evil election stealing lying piece of crap who should be
in jail but he is not dumb and he knows that the republicans are
pissing off ALL WOMEN VOTERS with this nonsense over contraception.
He also knows it political poison to the old white men pushing it. I am sure in
private he is telling Roger Ailes & other republican leaders it is a
loser of an issue.

If I recall correctly, publicly broadcasting denunciations of those mirror-sunglasses colonel-supreme leaders was pretty much guaranteed to shorten one's life expectancy to "by sundown" unless one high-tailed it across the border.

I haven't heard news of his demise yet, so I'm guessing he survived to sundown. Which means he's either out of the country or he's so full of santorum it's spilling out of his mouth.

But then, his nickname is "turd blossom"...
