Meet the search engine that vows not to track you: DuckDuckGo

Thanks to the revelations about the NSA's PRISM program, people are more concerned than ever about how much of their personal information is being captured and saved by big Web companies (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and so on). Google perhaps casts the biggest shadow among users, with the massive amount of personal data it can get from its search engine alone, to say nothing of its other properties, such as Google Apps and YouTube. For those who would rather not user a data-capturing behemoth for their Web searched, there's DuckDuckGo, a search engine that won't save so much as an IP address, much less any details more specific to individual users.
