He was stalked and accosted by some stranger.

It reminds us just how virulent and pervasive racism still is in this country.

All this talk of "living in a post-racial America" is bullsh*t.

We have the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act. Racial profiling by civilians now.

The struggle truly does continue.

I will be very interested if any of the other jurors come out and say "Wait a minute, she doesn't speak for me!".
While they all came to the same verdict, they may not have all gotten there in the way she describes.

I am wary of making accusations about the five other people when we have only heard from one. I don't trust this one at all; mainly because she sure seems more than happy to be "doing the circuit" right out of the gate.

I can't even imagine how the friends and family of Trayvon feel if they are hearing this woman. She needs to go back to her life as she said she would. It's all just so damn sad.

It's clear she paid no attention to the trial at all. She claimed that friend of Zimmerman's that was the Vietnam Vet and talked about combat screaming was the ME. Huh??? She ignored an admonition by the judge during trial to disregard Serino's saying that he believed Zimmerman was telling the truth and said that his saying that was a BIG reason she voted not guilty. She claimed the dispatcher egged him on to get out of the car and follow Martin when the dispatcher was the one that told him not to. She said although she believed that Zimmerman fabricated and embellished a lot of his story she found him to be truthful. HUH? Does she not know that to fabricate means to LIE??? She parroted lines from the defense counsel almost word for word. Despite the attorneys meticulously going over the time line to show that two minutes between the end of the dispatch phone call with Zimmerman and the end of the phone call Rachel had with Martin where no one but Martin and Zimmerman knew what happened she didn't believe Rachel's testimony because she couldn't understand why Rachel's and Martin's phone call was not recorded by the dispatcher. What. The. Fuck???? She ignored every bit of physical evidence. She claimed that none of the dozens of prosecution witnesses were believable yet also says that the eye and ear witnesses were truthful about what little they saw or heard (somehow she wants it both ways - either they were truthful to her or they weren't). Right out of Freeperland she claimed that it was late at night and pouring rain despite NEITHER the prosecution nor the defense saying this. Over and over again it was said that it was drizzling rain and that the whole encounter took place between 7:09pm and 7:16pm. In no one's universe is that late at night... but everyone in intertube land believed it was late at night thanks to the dipshitted liars in Freeperland.

Out of all this I'm curious about her ignoring the judge's admonition to the jurors to disregard Serino's saying that he believed Zimmerman to be truthful and said that she relied heavily on that statement. Is this not juror misconduct? How can ignoring a judge's admonition to disregard certain testimony and using that testimony heavily in deciding guilty or not guilty NOT be considered juror misconduct?
