The only part I would disagree with is that it applies to ALL Republicans not just Tea Baggers.

(39,405 posts)they don't seem to realize who their paycheck comes from.
I met the same in K-12.
For instructors in either to be conservative makes about as much sense as being a Log Cabin Republican or a Jew being a Brick Oven Nazi.

(221 posts)"The tax credits don't count as taking money from the government because that's my money to begin with!" I'm not sure of the best response to that but I can just see a Ron Paul nut saying that... and ignoring the social programs like SocSec, Medicare, not to mention public schools, other gov't protections like EPA etc.

(18,219 posts)Lucky for her, that doesn't dump out in front of the house.
See Sue drink fresh water, coming into her house from a treatment plant.
See Sue drive to work, on roads she did not personally build.
See Sue breathe, thanks to air not polluted with ammonia fumes and benzene leaking from the plant down the street.
Sue's a bitch.

(39,405 posts)he said didn't know why lefties get so worked up about pollution since the air was CLEANER now and cars pollute LESS than when he was a kid.
He said it as if those things happened on their own instead of through tough laws and regulation that made it happen.
It was the environmental equivalent of ''git yur guvmint hands off my Medrcare!''
