http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/02/19/428655/cantor-gop-agenda-fox/During an appearance on Fox News Sunday this morning, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) couldnt explain why the public rejects large parts of the Republican legislative agenda and instead blamed Democrats for opposing it.
Asked why a recent New York Times/CBS News poll showed that 67 percent of Americans favor raising taxes on millionaires to reduce the deficit, and that 80 percent oppose cutting Medicare, Cantor could only say, It is unfair that these individuals who want a better life and want more jobs and higher pay are not getting it.
What is not fair is that we are holding back the economy to grow because you are having Barack Obama working with the Democrats in the Senate, Reid and others, who are saying no to every time we want to grow the economy, he added, without ever actually addressing the question.

(1,372 posts)These people sound like idiots and think that the American people are going to accept crap like, "Gee, I don't know why the middle class is out of money and they won't support the Repub agenda to continue to move more wealth to the top 1%"
"We've been fooling them for the past 35 years, Why won't they just go along with us, like always?"
Let's vote in some people who know what's going on!
Look at all the people on MSNBC who tell us what's really going on.
Why don't we get some of them to run for office?

(18,636 posts)Why don't we want to live by the GOP standard where "if you don't work, you don't eat"?
Why can't the people understand that begging to shine someone's shoes is more prideful than accepting public assistance?
Cantor can't figure out why we prefer govt healthcare over insurance premiums.
Eric Cantor doesn't understand why hens don't trust coyotes.

Is he saying it is unfair to the 1% who want a better life, more jobs and higher pay? Because we all know that for the majority of us the GOP wants us to accept a pitiful life with little pay, no health care and scraps for food.
Perhaps he means that it is unfair that the rest of us are not willing to accept our lives being reduced so that the 1% can improve theirs even further.

(16,172 posts)to everyone. It seems people are waking up to the fact that the pukes mean, cut wages, outsource jobs, cut taxes for the wealthiest, and screw the workers is their agenda.
everyone has at least one horror story of a friend, relative or dog being out of work and not being able to obtain employment or healthcare. which should be blamed on the gop policies every chance we get.

Add to that the "bitch face" and he's a thoroughly unlikable caricature of a climber who will do whatever it takes to move up.
