Dash-cam video shows woman's arrest during diabetic episode

SANTA FE, N.M. -Shocking dash camera footage shows a diabetic woman being dragged out of her car by Santa Fe County sheriff deputies, all while she was having a diabetic episode.

In the video, deputies yank Revina Garcia out of her car. She had just been in a car accident after having a severe diabetic attack and is completely limp

A deputy shattered Garcia’s car window and pulled her out of the car. Garcia was then thrown on the street face down and handcuffed."In this case there was no resistance. We are looking at that very seriously," Santa Fe County Sheriff Robert Garcia said.

After 10 minutes, paramedics arrived and Garcia was treated for the diabetic episode.

1. I wish diabetics would be more responsible

A diabetic killed my wife's father and stepmother. She came out without a scratch. She got in a car on an empty stomach, had an episode went into the other lane and kill my wife's father and stepmother.

It's amazing how angry they got with someone who wasn't resisting at all. Even if she'd had been drunk, to just yank someone out of a car like that after an accident -- she could have had neck/spinal injuries, she could have been non-responsive because she'd hit her head, etc. etc.

Disgusting.
