(10,602 posts)All the GOP rhetoric about socialistic Europe the last few years was code. Europe was set up by billionaires and millionaires in the US and their rich allies in the various countries. They have always hated the European model that had job security and universal health care. By selling bad securities that were mortgage packages designed to fail they deliberately blew them up. The fact that they have so many conservative PM's is more than a coincidence. The austerity push is the same thing that the GOP is pushing here.
The main reason is that Europe stood in the way of globalization. The "new world order" is the one world government that the multinational banks and corporations are aiming for. Unless you destroy the labor and employment and education you cannot flatten the economy of the world to benefit the super rich.
Our media does not report the fact that the Koch's, the Coors, and others have sponsored active conservative and even reactionary movements in many of these European countries.
Greece is the best example of a country that has been set up. If you notice they are facing selling off their commons and laying off most of their government workers. The GOP is setting up the US for the same fate. That is what this election is all about.
