Oh, he's crazee enough, sure. But he'd bury it first. No foreign entanglements, remember? I think he'd be the least likely, actually.

Newtie Patootie would be so pissed with his own power that he'd do it immediately after taking the oath of office. "Protect and defend..." KA-BLAM!

the guy would be so confused he would pull the trigger.

Newt is more likely to ask for ransom sent to a Swiss bank account.

Not one of them would pass the test. That scene was prophetic and accurate. This is just the latest round of (R) - Chickenhawk.

But I'd bet our President would pick the kid up and throw him/her off the stage and out of range.

But only because he's been in high places politically longer than anyone else. He was Speaker which made him that close to being President. Too close not to give him delusional ideas.

Newt if he thought he could get away with it...
Ron Paul if he thought it said "lunch" and hit it by mistake..
Which by default, not coincidentally, leaves the religious nutcase as the only logical choice...Stillson/Santorum it is then...

He's a power-hungry guy with absolutely no conscience and an ego so large it has it's own satellites.

He'd do it just because he could. Don't forget he shut down the government because he felt he didn't get the right seat on the plane. A man that petty would deploy the National Guard if his pizza didn't arrive in 30 minutes or less.

That's why Adelson and his wife are donating to his superPAC.

Gingrich: Adelson supports me because of Israel

He added, sounding very much like Mitt Romney as he went to great lengths to create distance between himself and his super PAC, that he hasn't coordinated on money and all he knows of Adelson's support is what he reads in the news.

"Sheldon Adelson has clearly, according to the articles, has been very generous," he said. "Sheldon Adelson's passion in life is (the security of) Israel."

He added that Adelson is very concerned about Iran posing the threat of a "second Holocaust" to Israel.

Adelson was helping out "to offset the Goldman Sachs, the big banks" helping Romney, Gingrich said, because the casino magnate's perspective is, "I really want somebody to be there who understands foreign policy, understands national security ... my relationship with Sheldon is about a very specific public thing."
