Republican Strategist Frank Luntz Jokes About Killing Obama At Lincoln Day Dinner Party

Luntz jabs at Obama during Santorum campaign stop: 'Run, Barack, Run' sticker goes on the front bumper (video)

Republican Party Strategist Frank Luntz speaks at the annual Kent County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner Monday at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.

...............

"I actually have a 'Run, Barack, Run,' bumper-sticker but I put it on the front of my car," he continued.

Luntz then shifted his sights to Clinton.

"Or, that of all the places Hillary Clinton could choose to live, she chose Chappaqua, New York," he said. "Did you know Chappaqua is Indian for 'separate bedrooms?'"

KAPOW! HI-larious. (NOT) Can't you just see the President running from a car? I know Frank Luntz is widely known for not having any appreciation or understanding of the power of words, so it's perfectly logical to assume that the visuals of a white man chasing down our African American President in a car wouldn't bring up any specific memories from our shameful national past.

to the idiots he was talking to. He is a partisan hack and I don't understand why some news networks use him to conduct supposedly independent focus groups.

It's a stupid joke that predates Obama. You're allowed to joke about the president. This is in poor taste to be sure, but it doesn't constitute a threat. If the WH thought the rolly-pollster was going to harm the president, they would deal with it.

And I'm sure it's much older than that.
These people are not very funny, and they're not at all original when they are being not funny.

As far as "Luntz Jokes About Killing Obama..." can we stop with the hyperbole please?
It makes us look as idiotic and humorless as they usually are...

Chappaqua, New York
Various spellings were used for the name they heard Native Americans use for their valley and hillside. It was an Algonquian word, shah-pah-ka, and it meant "the rustling land" or "the rattling land," or a place where nothing is heard but the rustling of the wind in the leaves. The Quakers spelled it Shapiqua, Shapaqua, Shapequa, Shappaqua, and, finally, Chappaqua. Their meeting was often referred to as the Shapequa Meeting as early as 1745.[4]

The ONLY thing that does bother me is that he has been used to set u focus groups to monitor the effect of things like general election debates. (The "run" joke is beyond the pale against either Hillary ( because she is a woman) and Obama. It is not acceptable against ANY candidate. Though joking about putting Mitt on the top of the car might not be all that bad - as he still does not think it wrong for a helpless dog.

It is VERY easy to influence a focus group if you are considered "high status" or important. I don't know that he ever has - either by being with them or having someone - think alpha male - planted among these "undecideds".
