This has been a big ass full moon...

But they say people's behaviors change a little when there is a full moon. I could believe that.

After all, the Moon has an effect on the tides of the Ocean. And since more than 50% of your body is made of water, I could see how it could affect the human body.

Now, I'm not saying it does. I'm just saying with the law of gravity, the tides of the ocean and so forth, it could be possible?

If it were true, it might explain a little of the behavior on DU for the last few days...

coined to describe mentally ill people. They thought it was controlled by phases of the moon.

Some people predict the birth of babies on the full moon date.

Gardeners use the lunar phases to start some seeds or to plant crops.

And -- if you rub a potato on a wart and then plant the potato by the full moon, the wart will disappear! Well, that one is an old wives tale.

The full moon does affect behavior in some mysterious ways!

Just like the tides of the ocean. And if the moon's gravity can affect the Earth, why not Jupiter or Saturn or Mercury or Venus, etc?

Despite having greater mass than Luna, the other planets are just too far away to have any gravitational effect.

Or subconsciously? Like tuning in one of those old radios and you really can't understand what they are saying because the stations are so far off??

so I don't consider it outside the realm of possibility that distant objects can exert an imperceptible attraction - imperceptible to current scientific instruments, that is.
