But they say people's behaviors change a little when there is a full moon. I could believe that. After all, the Moon has an effect on the tides of the Ocean. And since more than 50% of your body is made of water, I could see how it could affect the human body.
Now, I'm not saying it does. I'm just saying with the law of gravity, the tides of the ocean and so forth, it could be possible?
If it were true, it might explain a little of the behavior on DU for the last few days...

(131,102 posts)Plenty of anecdotal evidence over the years has suggested that the lunar cycle messes with our sleep. A new study published in the journal Current Biology suggests that while it may not make you howl, the full moon might in fact make you toss and turn in bed.

Gardeners use the lunar phases to start some seeds or to plant crops.
And -- if you rub a potato on a wart and then plant the potato by the full moon, the wart will disappear! Well, that one is an old wives tale.
The full moon does affect behavior in some mysterious ways!

(111,110 posts)Just like the tides of the ocean. And if the moon's gravity can affect the Earth, why not Jupiter or Saturn or Mercury or Venus, etc?

(25,973 posts)Despite having greater mass than Luna, the other planets are just too far away to have any gravitational effect.
