Joe Jackson denied a sweet, sweet payday as wrongful death lawsuit is tossed out of court

Joe Jackson
Wrongful Death Lawsuit Tossed Out of Court

http://www.tmz.com/2012/02/21/joe-jackson-wrongful-death-lawsuit-michael-jackson-katherine-jackson-aeg/#.T0P0MuVhBws

Joe Jackson screwed up by filing a Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit against AEG and Dr. Conrad Murray ... a judge has just ruled.

Joe filed his wrongful death lawsuit AFTER Katherine Jackson filed hers -- on her own behalf and on behalf of the kids.

It's unclear why Joe didn't try to join in Katherine's suit rather than filing a separate one on his own. It's possible Katherine didn't want him.

Whatever the reason, the judge said you can't have 2 suits that allege the exact same thing, and since Katherine filed first Joe loses.

Most attorneys would move to let a legitimate plaintiff (maybe there's the rub) join an existing lawsuit.

I'll never forget this jerk gleefully promoting some boy band he was managing mere days after Michael's death.

Katherine Jackson: AEG Was Reckless with MJ's Life

Katherine Jackson has just filed legal docs claiming AEG was well aware there were life-threatening activities going down at Michael Jackson's house, yet the company turned a blind eye.

In her docs, Katherine says AEG retained Dr. Conrad Murray for an "exorbitant salary of $150,000 monthly," and in return Murray agreed to "get Jackson to attend rehearsals and perform."

Sorry, Katherine, but your son was a deliberate and full-fledged participant in the reckless, life-threatening activities. Michael's relationship with AEG was that of consenting adults, and he chose to commit to the tour though his health was such that he used a GENERAL ANESTHETIC to get to sleep EVERY night. He wasn't a vulnerable, clueless child -- at least, not technically. Just be grateful that AEG isn't suing Michael's estate for a refund of whatever they paid him up front (though that's most likely only because they took out a BIG fat "dead peasants" insurance policy on him).

Michael Jackson secretly supported daddy Joe Jackson

In legal docs filed in Joe's wrongful death case against Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael's former alleged manager, Leonard Rowe, wrote a sworn statement in which he claims Katherine acted as Michael's agent, funneling money to Joe for support.

And Joe's lawyer, Brian Oxman, wrote his own declaration in which he claims he prepared financial docs for Michael during his 2004 custody battle with Debbie Rowe. In those declarations, Oxman claims Michael disclosed he was giving Katherine $50,000 a month in the early 2000s and later it went up to $66,000. Oxman says Katherine used part of the money to pay for Joe's living expenses.

As for you, Joe, I've explained this to you before -- Michael was NOT supporting you, and neither was your wife! The money Michael gave to her WAS hers, and whatever she gave to you (from out of either charity, guilt or buying your silence) was HER GIFT. You were not and are not directly entitled to ANY of your son's estate, especially since Michael did NOT put you in his will. You and Katherine never actually divorced, however. So I'll tell you once again: if you need money, get a job -- and if you want Michael's money, reconcile with your wife!
