I guess Newt used the right phrases to pass FG's religious test.
I think when FG asked Obama how he became a Christian, Obama went through the events that brought him into church. He didn't spend anytime talking about how his heart became convicted, he asked Jesus in, etc. Fundies have to hear certain key phrases or they aren't in board that someone is a "true Christian."
