if McDonald's doubled wages.
What i want to know is, how much would the price rise if McDonald's served actual food?

(111,096 posts)They are saying if the wages doubled, it would only raise the price 68 cents per burger. I guess if they raised the wages to only $11.00 per hour, it would only raise the price 34 cents?

(25,183 posts)wouldn't be terrible on a Big Mac, you could indeed say goodbye to that loss leader known as the "value menu". I know a lot of people here trash McDonald's food, but that low-priced alternative is the difference between starvation and feeling modestly full (admittedly, of somewhat empty calories) for quite a few people.
Clearly, raising the wages of fast-food workers is only part of the solution.

You're touching the sacred cow there Robb!
Without billions in profit, how could the "job creators" be expected to get out of bed to check how their wealth is multiplying by their "hard work"?
